President Trump is set to host historic UFC event at the White House on his 80th birthday.

In a stunning announcement, U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed plans for the White House to host a UFC event on June 14, 2026, the same day he turns 80.

Speaking to Navy sailors at the Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia, Trump said,

“On June 14 next year, we’re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House — right on the grounds of the White House.”

The date holds dual significance as both Trump’s birthday and Flag Day in the United States.

The announcement comes after UFC President Dana White had earlier disclosed that the mega fight was slated for July 4, 2026, to coincide with America’s 250th Independence anniversary. White had described it as “the greatest fight card ever assembled in the history of this company.”

The decision to move the bout to Trump’s milestone birthday has sparked widespread attention — and likely controversy — as it would mark the first time in history that the Ultimate Fighting Championship is staged on White House grounds.

Trump, a longtime ally and friend of Dana White, has been a visible and popular figure at numerous UFC events, often receiving rock-star receptions from fans. His association with the sport has become part of his political and cultural persona, particularly among younger male voters — a key demographic in U.S. politics.

Last year, Trump marked his 79th birthday with a military parade celebrating the founding of the U.S. Army.

Founded in 1993, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion, featuring elite fighters from across the globe in disciplines such as boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu. Despite its massive following, the sport remains controversial due to its violent nature and potential health risks, including long-term brain injuries.

If the event goes ahead as planned, it will be a historic fusion of sports, politics, and spectacle, underscoring Trump’s flair for blending pop culture with presidential power.
