Newcastle United could enter the transfer market to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic during the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The Magpies strengthened their centre-forward department during the summer transfer window with the purchases of Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa.
Woltemade has made an instant impact with four goals in all competitions for the Tyneside outfit, but Wissa has yet to make his mark due to an early season injury.
Amidst this, it is claimed that the Magpies could land another marksman in January. They could capitalise on Juventus’ compulsion to sell Vlahovic this winter.
The Serbian has entered the last year of his contract and will enter his final six months in January. He has no plans to renew and is expected to be sold by Juventus.
Chelsea have been linked with the former Fiorentina man on many occasions in the past and they have not made any formal offer for his services.
Arsenal are also long-term admirers, but the ship has probably sailed. Newcastle now appear keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
