BUA Group chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a $500,000 reward for the Super Eagles if they win their semi-final match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The announcement came shortly after Nigeria’s 2–0 victory over Algeria in the quarter-finals, a result that confirmed the Super Eagles’ place in the last four of the tournament.

In a message shared on social media on Saturday, Rabiu praised the team for their discipline and calm display against a tough Algerian side, saying the win had lifted the mood of Nigerians.

He congratulated the players on the impressive performance and encouraged them as they prepare for the semi-finals, noting that the country is firmly behind them.

Rabiu explained that the $500,000 bonus will be paid if Nigeria progress to the final. He also revealed that more rewards are in place should the Super Eagles go on to win the competition.

According to him, lifting the AFCON trophy will attract an additional $1 million bonus, with a further $100,000 promised for every goal scored in the final match.

With Nigeria now just two games away from continental success, Rabiu urged the players to stay focused and united as the tournament enters its decisive stage. He encouraged them to continue making the nation proud with belief and commitment.
