FCMB Group Plc has announced that it will delay the release of its unaudited financial statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2025.
In a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and signed by the Company Secretary, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adedibu, FCMB disclosed that it would not be able to meet the statutory filing deadline of October 30, 2025.
The company attributed the delay to the commencement of the interim audit of its largest subsidiary, First City Monument Bank Limited for the period ending September 30, 2025.
According to the group, the outcome of the audit is expected to materially affect its consolidated accounts, making it necessary to defer the publication of its results.
FCMB confirmed that its consolidated third-quarter 2025 results will be published on or before December 29, 2025.
The disclosure assures investors and regulators of the company’s commitment to transparency and compliance while highlighting the importance of aligning group results with audited subsidiary performance.
