Zirkzee and Mainoo want to leave United

Manchester United duo Joshua Zirkzee and Kobbie Mainoo are expected to push for exits when the transfer window reopens in January.

Zirkzee has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and he has primarily operated from the substitutes’ bench. With the World Cup next summer, the Dutchman is desperate for playing time in the coming months.

The same is the case with Mainoo, who has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim. He has struggled to break into the XI after Bruno Fernandes‘ switch to the number eight position this campaign.

Mainoo pushed for a loan exit last summer, but his wish was not granted. He is prepared to try again at the turn of the year. Napoli and West Ham United are among admirers of the England international, as per reports.

Similarly, Zirkzee has been touted to leave on a temporary basis. West Ham, AC Milan and Juventus have been linked with the services of the former Bologna forward.
